Foothill homes do require different maintenance – Colorado is a high desert environment that is dry and sunny and, in the foothills, the same is true but with the multiplier of increased snow and wind. Having said this the maintenance is the same but with different areas of attention.
Drainage, deck surfaces, roofs, and access points matter more because of terrain and weather.
Most issues are predictable and manageable. Homeowners who stay proactive often find maintenance becomes routine rather than burdensome.
